EVENTS – April 2017 Fujisan Sakura Matsuri
9th WAVe PBL partnered with Japanese holding company Millesimes and FujiSan Winery to host a two day, eclectic soiree at the FujiSan Winery in Yamananako, Japan. A triumvirate of art, food and drink provided sustenance for the soul and the body amid the wondrous backdrop of Mt. Fuji, Japan`s iconic and treasured symbol of majestic beauty.
The art was well represented by Hawaiian artist Patrick Parker who unveiled three new original artworks from his preeminent new “Sakura Series”. He further relegated his artful prowess for the canvas by lending a brush to the exterior of the winery and imposing a landscape of earthly charms depicted by paint and dexterous imagination.
Kobe based artist Nao Morigo made her own presence known through a sequence of work that both tantalizes and beguiles the senses. Her expansive palette is rich in color and distinct in a multitude of forms.
9th WAVe Gallery, a subsidiary of 9th WAVe PBL, showcased its own artisanal blend of Maui, Hawaii based coffee, branded as Maui Kine Coffee in fellowship with Coconut Glen`s Vegan ice cream at the gala. The coconut derived elixir joined hands with the organically grown coffee to rear a child of simple deliciousness and is another example of 9th WAVe PBL`s incessant drive for cooperation and prosperity.
